CASA DUNO (2011-2014) was a curatorial collaboration between Cameron DuBois and Sarah Umles, active in facilitating exhibitions of work by emerging artists in temporary and alternative spaces around Chicago, IL. Cameron and Sarah met in Los Angeles where they worked together at Louis Stern Fine Arts. Cameron earned her BFA in Industrial Design at Carnegie Mellon University, and Sarah received her BA in Creative Writing from UC Riverside and MA in Arts Administration & Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2010, Cameron returned to her home state of Illinois, and shortly after, Sarah also moved to the Windy City to pursue her graduate degree. The two paired up again, and through their combined interests in art, design, and curating, Casa Duno was born.
